I was cold turkey end in September 2013 and I suffer with a constant daily wake up anxiety attack almost like the attack begins before I wake up followed by all day daily anxiety/ nervousness or feeling on edge and some derealization. Has anyone on this forum had this?

I had no withdrawal problems with Klonopin but I know a lot of others in the forums have had trouble. I'm sure you will get plenty of responses.

I have never taken that but do use Ativan as needed sometimes daily for a few weeks straight and I never have a problem with it.. I will get my anxiety issues come and go when I don't use it but use other skills to cope.. Can I ask why you went cold turkey did your Dr put you on something else possible a Ssri to help with your anxiety and now withdrawal symptoms.. I wake up frequently with close to a full blown panic attack I feel for you and myself so draining.. Not the way to start a day filled with fear.

I'm actually back on a rare klonopin, but I quit daily use several years ago. I had symptoms much like the flu (general unwell feeling, chills, headache etc), as well as an increase in anxiety symptoms for a couple months after I stopped, but they went away after that. If you quit that long ago, I'd be really surprised if your symptoms were strictly due to klonopin withdrawal. Could it just be a return of your anxiety symptoms since you're no longer treating them? Are you taking anything else for anxiety?

Weird! How much do you take on a daily basis? I've been on and off Klonopin for 4 or 5 years and never once experienced withdrawal

Current Daily Meds:
3mg Klonopin
300mg Wellbutrin
10mg Lexapro
200mg Seroquel
