Possible Link between SSRI's and Male Infertility Researchers at Cornell Medical Centre report that antidepressants affect sperm concentration and motility due to the effect of SSRI's on sperm transport. When males went off the medication, their sperm returned to full normal. Further study is required, but be mindful of this if you have been prescribed SSRI's for male sexual problems and are trying to conceive. Source: Medical Post |

I have read that SSRIs can also affect female fertility. I did a lot of googling around that but couldn't find anything that convinced me either way.
I suppose I am a little mindful - anyone else heard of that? |
