Thank you for your feedback, I'm new here I was prescribed "latuda" 40mg. That's a new one, I'm not sure if my insurance will pay for it because it's so new but that's ok. Is anyone having success with Latuda?. Thanks so much. Have a great day. be nice to yourself today.

I'm on latuda. My doctor and I are debating a bipolar diagnoses and while we are I've been prescribed latuda. I can tell it's working because I don't have the spending urges that I can get when I'm not on it also randomly it's made me stop my nail biting. I know that's the latuda because I can't not bite my nails normally and I've only stopped before when I was on wellbutrin so it seems latuda is having a similar random effect on me.

Good luck with it! Oh, there is a discount card that will give you 12 fills forn as little as a $25 dollar copay. Here's the link: Co-Pay Savings for LATUDA® (lurasidone HCl) HTHS

hi homealone
i have heard good things about latuda but not yet taken it. my doc wanted to prescribe it but said she would have to get approval from my insurance. i didnt want to have to go through that process when i am so sensitive to so many AP's. i hope it works for you. welcome to psych central. you will find we have several forums where you can post about your concerns and receive feedback from other members. you will get a lot of support here. again, welcome

I was prescribed Latuda as an enhancer with Zoloft last July for depression and I don't have Bipolar. It did work to quickly to take away the depression. However, it greatly increased my appetite and I gained 20 pounds really quickly and my depression came back rapidly after my body became used to it. I just tapered off of it and the withdrawal has been awful. Except for the weight gain, I think it worked okay while I was on it. Good luck!

I tried it, starting at 20 mg, but had a very bad reaction after just 3 days, and had to stop taking it.

Today is day 5 of "Latuda" 40 mg, I cant believe how fast I'm noticing a difference in a VERY GOOD WAY!. I had a little spell this morning. I was able to pull myself out of it before it got too bad. I just hope this frame of mind last. Thanks again.
