I tried Topamax as an adjunct to the other anti-depressant I was taking. It didn't help my depression, it actually made me worse. I've heard of others talk about blurred vision and cognitive problems as side effects. It can help stimulate weight loss in some, too. But as always, your results may vary. I think in my case it making my depression worse is not a typical response.
