Just wondering if anyone else taking seroquel experiences nightmares and lucid dreams. It's really freaking me out.
Is it a side effect that goes away? Thanks

I'm just on 50 mg. I'm supposed to go up to 100 mg. Maybe it will get better then? I dunno.

I take it for sleep and it just makes me sleep through the night, usually i don't remember my dreams on it which kind of sucks. I used to lucid dream all of the time (before i had insomnia)

YES!!!!
Seroquel is known for causing extremely vivid dreams and bad dreams or nightmares. It's a frustrating side effect. If you're like I am, you recall your dreams very clearly and it seriously affects how your day goes. Very frustrating because here you are, taking this med that's supposed to help you sleep really well and calm your fears and such, so then you have nightmares and it feels like you're even worse off than you were before the Seroquel. The good news is, at least in my experience, the dreams do stop. Your dreams go back to being normal, not freaky and upsetting. If I remember correctly, it took a few weeks, maybe two-three, until my dreams normalized after starting Seroquel. |

I don't have nightmares per se. But I have some very vivid very twisted dreams that I remember.
