Hello,
Does anyone else experience headaches from setraline (zoloft?). I am currently taking 50mg and have been getting headaches very easily since a few weeks in. Dr says maybe it's cause by my clogged sinuses.... If you do get headaches from it, how do you relieve them? |

Hello,
I got headaches too, I had to decrease my dosage in order for that and other side-effects to subside. It could also dissipate with time, it could be your body adjusting to the dosage. I say if its going on more than two weeks, talk to your doctor? Or see if you can cut on caffeine more? I hesitate to take Tylenol as I've read it may counteract with Zoloft. I decreased caffeine and that helped, I try to drink decaf tea. I got turned on to mint majesty (mint) tea at starbucks, its easy, just grab and go. |

I have been on Zoloft for about a month and my cluster headaches are increasing. I was wondering the same thing and found this thread. My sinuses are also worse- I press on them constantly, so I'm glad you mentioned it. Maybe this isn't a cold after all, but the increase in medication. And I'm supposed to go up again in 3 days. I'm rather dreading it. I don't feel like anyone of my providers will listen to me. I know I'm hard to medicate and they had to pull me out of a bad depression, but I'm miserable physically now. I know they want me to stay on it -they won't talk to me about it... But I'm nearly ready to stop it on my own. I'm driving at night with sunglasses. A friend of mine was saying that her sinuses get plugged with trazodone, and the doc confirmed it. I'm also on that- are you?
I don't know what to do. I think I hate meds.
