does abilify cause sleepwalking?

abilify is a fairly new medication......report the sleepwalking to your dr.....everyone reacts differently

It can can insomnia, I don't know about sleep walking though ... If you already have a sleep disorder then that could be just that.

It's best to talk to your doctor, but I couldn't find anything on sleep walking as a side effect with this med.

OMG! I read your post and was slapped in the face! I'm on abilify and have been sleepwalking too! I don't know if it causes it or not but it's a good question to post to the doc. I've been doing odd things in my sleep like tearing pages out of books and using femining hygiene products without reason for it! Ok, the last one really shocked me, but those are the latest odd behaviors I've been doing in my sleep. Crazy!
