Hi all, I have been taking Lamictal-200mg a few months.. I don't want to change that. I want to continue taking low dose of Seroqual (25mg) or taper off and take ER basis if that's possible/effective. I went up to 50mg Seroquel and didn't like how groggy I was.
I still need help with PMS. I was taking 10mg Prozac prescribed by my obgyn which I still have, 1-2 weeks prior to my Period (before I was dx bipolar, ).. Now that I have better balance I think it's safe to reintroduce little Prozac to take edge off pms. (Neither drug has helped as much as Prozac did for low moods during pms).

I am checking in with Pdoc she is great and tends to let me lead based on what feels right.

Also I know there's a moderate interaction between Prozac and Seroquel but I'm at very low dose.

Thanks for any input

I'm on prozac now, at 20mg - and feel it is helping - been taking it for about 3 weeks now - I'm on fluoxetine, but what I'm worried about is that they'll probably be less affective as time goes on, and I'm gonna end up on a higher dose - but I wish I'd taken anti-depressants earlier in my life, and not had to manage with bipolar without any meds - but anyway, I'm on them for now and it seems to be working.

Lamictal - Prozac - Latuda has been a great combo for me.

I take your dosage of lamictal and seroquel , and have no problem. I think the Prozac is the problem. Have you heard of abilify?

thanks for feedback- my Pdoc said she doesn't recommend i take Prozac again and i think its due to possible interactions. for now- I am taking homeopathic stuff for anxiety and PMS. (as well as Vitex-) not sure how helpful they are... Today is a bad day- feel so moody. I wish the BP meds helped with cycle related female issues too!!
