Has anybody experienced akasthesia from desvenlafaxine (pristiq)? Do ssri's & snri's often cause akasthesia?

I should point out I had this "akasthesia" somewhat before starting the pristiq it just intensified it. I'm not sure if it was the pristiq causing akasthesia or pristiq setting off a mixed type episode with motor restlessness & anxiety.

I had akathisia from antipsychotic meds, but not from antidepressants. I take benztrop (an antiparkinson med) to keep the akathisia away.

Does it also prevent the inner restlessness?

SNRIs have norepinephrine which I think could cause that.

I still get it with ssris just not as bad. I could be misinterpreting psychomotor agitation for akasthesis but it feels exactly as akasthesia is described.
