Okay, so last night was terrible. Yesterday morning I took a second dose of Latuda, only at 10 mgs, and I felt TERRIBLE all day long. Super anxious through out the entire day, and then later at night I was like ENRAGED because people in my head wanted me to go **** myself and I wasn't able to do anything about it. The stared words aren't anything bad, it's just not allowed to be said on here. The thing I've heard with inner dialogue is that it's usually your own inner voice in your head, except with me, it's not me, it's other people's voices. Like intrusive thoughts almost in other people's voices. Olanzapine made me mad too... I feel bad because Latuda has done so much damage already only after TWO doses. I don't get it... and then the treatment team hints that I'm being non-compliant with medication, but you can't blame me for not being able to tolerate side affects!!

I was on Latuda for a little while and I had adverse reactions similar to you. I went off it after a month.

I Lasted 6 weeks on latuda and it made me actively suicidal. I stopped taking it just over a week ago and i am just starting to come out if it. Its just fleeting thoughts. My pdoc doesnt know and will be upset as this is the 6 th med in 18 months my body has reacted adversely to. Hes likely thinking its all in my head. That i just dont want to try. What a joke. Id do anything to feel better. My body does not agree.

Yes.
Do look up the side effects and use it as defence if necessary, please!
It obviously does not affect everyone in this manner, but after 1 month on it that word we are not allowed to use is exactly what I tried to do (also voices). That is even mentioned on Latuda's T.V. commercial as one of the possible side effects.
Do take care.

Latuda is mostly for depression leaning bipolar if you hear other people voices there's better APs for that symptom.

It sounds like you need to start looking for a new med provider. I fired my last psychiatrist and walked out in the middle of the appointment because she kept screwing around and blaming all of my symptoms on physiological problems even though I had been to my PDoc for numerous blood tests that came back fine. I now see my PDoc for all my meds and he has done more for me in the past few months than she did for me in over a year and a half.

I'm dx schizoaffective bipolar and I sought treatment for my voices primarily and latuda was the first med offered in the Psyche ward. Luckily I had been reading online forums for months before I went to the ER finally and I asked why not seroquel? He said well yes seroquel is definitely an appropriate medication but tried to warn me away from it as its so expensive.
