Hey uh my gf got a rash about the size of a penny on her arm is this normal from Geodon? I do know there is a fatal rash...she just started 5 days ago

The fatal rash is with lamictal as far as I know..

Apparently there is a different rash now associated with geodon. First I had heard of it.
FDA Drug Safety Communication: FDA reporting mental health drug ziprasidone (Geodon) associated with rare but potentially fatal skin reactions "A new warning has been added to the Geodon drug label to describe the serious condition known as Drug Reaction with Eosinophilia and Systemic Symptoms (DRESS). Patients who have a fever with a rash and/or swollen lymph glands should seek urgent medical care. Health care professionals should immediately stop treatment with ziprasidone if DRESS is suspected." |
