I have been on 5mg of abilify for 2 months, and a month before that I was on 2 mgs. Soon after starting I noticed my ability to dance decreased a lot. I feel like I can't move properly. I've danced since I was 7, and even though I don't take classes anyone I still try to choreograph. I haven't been able to do this in months.
Today my psychiatrist has lowered my dose to 1mg. I am wondering if anyone has had similar experiences with this medication, and when the side effects subsided? Did you have to go off the med completely?

Hello espresso-shots: No, I can't say I had the experience you've had with Abilify. However, I was put on it at one point. It made everything I ate taste metallic. I pretty-much lost my taste for food entirely. The only things I could enjoy eating at all were sweets... which wasn't bad since I have a real sweet-tooth. But, on the other hand, one can't live on cookies & ice cream either.
