So I have a question ?

I was taking vyvanse from last October until the other day. I ended up having an allergic reaction to it last week and stopped taking all my meds until I got into the doc which was yesterday. Anyways my doc took me off the vyvanse and put me on Ritalin three times a day. I was already taking Ritalin at three in the evening with the vyvanse. Well yesterday she had me do a urine drug screen which was fine because I don't abuse drugs but I hadn't taken Amy of my meds since last week because of the allergic reaction I wanted to be on the safe side and talk to her first. Will it be an issue my meds not being in my urine ?

Hello Ktorres30: I see this is your first post here on PC... so... welcome to PsychCentral... from the Skeezyks! May you find the time you spend here to be of benefit!

I'm sorry you have not received any previous replies to your post. It's been a few days now since you posted this. Perhaps you now know the answer to your question. I wouldn't really know what to tell you about this. It seems to me the only concern would be that if you're not taking your med's, then they can't help you. However, it seems like you had a perfectly logical reason for holding off.

I was put on Lamictal about a year or so ago. I developed Lamictal rash & had to be taken off of it right away. My pdoc never even advised me that this could be a concern. I just went to my GP to see why I was breaking out & he diagnosed me & sent me immediately to a dermatologist. So I know that the kinds of experiences you've had can leave one a bit uncertain. I wish you well...

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
