I'm on Abilify 5mg and Zoloft 100mg. I just started having sex and I have issues getting wet. I don't think I had those issues before I was on medicine when I masturbated, but now I've noticed it when I have sex. Is it because of the medicine? Would it be a good idea to talk to my pdoc about stopping it, or starting something new? Or would another medicine bring the same problem? I think I have been feeling better with this medicine, but I don't want this side effect. What should I do?

I suggest you talk to your doc about it. I know some psych meds can affect sexuality.
Thanks for this!

As awkward as it may be, I think talking to your dr is the next step. You can purchase personal lubricants, I've had to do so because of my meds. If the meds are working, you might try that
Thanks for this!

There are some that won't give you that side effect but how long have you been on these?

Sometimes they take a few more months for side effects to decrease libido issues

please DO NOT quote ANY SELECTION of my post. thank you. have a good day.
