I'm desperate for relief of this horrible depression. I've tried everything and am currently having ECT, with mixed results. Once my nurse practitioner mentioned medicinal marijuana but I know nothing about how to get it. In Mass. It's legal, but I don't know what to do. Does anyone know anything about it?

i'm in az. where med. m/j is legal; i needed a medical report from dr. with diagnosis (several different medical conditions determine whether med. m/j can be prescribed)..then went online to find med. m/j dr. i presented my medical documentation to that dr.; he wrote the rx for it and right there all the paperwork was done as well as paying for the yearly med. m/j license…total $300. you must renew everything yearly.

Yes..where i live and the place i went to, it was 1-stop shopping: the med. dr. was on the premises in 1 room and then you applied for the yearly med. license in another room and there was even a guy who was selling his pot at a discount and gave me a card but there are several med. m/j pharmacies nearby and the card and medical exam must be renewed yearly.

I grew up smoking this (Illegally obviously), and it really helps to calm me down. Nothing I've taken prescription wise has come close to the happy, relaxed, free mind I experienced when I smoked.

I'm in a relationship with a cop, who even though he says he doesn't mind if I smoke, I won't because I respect his decision for a career.

I really wish they'd just start treating it like alcohol. Tax it, regulate it, and realize it's an herb that grows in the ground... Naturally.

I just can't understand why so many still think it's a gateway drug. That is so harmful. Don't they realize all those pills, all that alcohol, the cigarettes...

Do you think that's better?

Why? Just because it's "Legal"?

My state will probably be one of the last to even allow medical marijuana. It's a shame. Really.
