Hi, anyone took Zyprexa for anxiety/panic? I have been prescribed 2.5mg to take every night because my pdoc believes it will help reduce my panic attacks. I have read feedbacks about this drug being well known for causing weight gain, so i would like to know does it play any part in reducing anxiety and panic attacks?

I take this med at the same dose at night too. I would say it helps somewhat mostly for disorderly thinking for me, can't say about panic/anxiety cause I take klonopin 0.25 2x a day and prozac 30mg 1x a day. Sorry I can't help more.
