Hi all,
Dont usually post here but in need of some help.

My doctor wants me to make a decision or put some thought into me switching from abilify to risperdone for my bipolar. I am currently on 600mg of lithium and 20mg of abilify. But the abilify is giving me lots of anxiety and making me a bit edgy... I also am very apathetic and tired. Not sure if its the medicine or my depression but im not usually like that even when im depressed; i have more walking depression. But the abilify has helped my psychotic thoughts and suicidal behavior.

She has also told me to consider raising the lithium...
What i would really like is something to push me out of the apathetic rut but anything like wellbutrin is a no-no of course...

Thoughts? experiences with both drugs? help? pizza? lol
Hugs from:

Risperdone turned me into a vegetable. It slowed down my OCD but it slowed down all my thinking as well. I finally quit when I experienced double vision. The only antipsychotic I ever found tolerable was Rexulti and it's new, but is one of the most expensive drugs I have ever taken.
Thanks for this!

I read up on Rexulti, seems to be another newer version of abilify.... I wonder if they found a way to curve the anxiety
