I have been on Zoloft for almost 10 years. It works wonders for me, except for one problem.... It has totally killed my sex drive.
My doctor added Wellbutrin and told me that it has been known to increase the libido in women with issues stemming from anti-depressants. It worked a little but I had to quit taking it because it made me slightly crazy. My question is, has anyone else had this problem but found a way to fix it? ![]() |

Yes indeed. After being on Effexor for a while I noticed it killed my sex drive. I was single at the time, so I didn't notice it at first. Eventually when my pdoc added Wellbutrin, it brought it back. However, when I first was put on Wellbutrin I was on the XL version which made me irritable and gave me insomnia. I was then switched to the SR version during the day and that helped stabilize everything.

Wellbutrin makes me cray. Interested if anyone has any other answers. My OBGYN, PCP, and pdoc and therapist all say try masturbating. That's like telling a wall to be a floor.

Honestly I don't know what will help it. I too have zero sex drive and I am now being shifted to zoloft which has the effect of making my libido low. Can it possibly go lower?!? My poor boyfriend. I feel bad for him but I just have no drive. Ug. I am following this post.
