I have officially weaned off both seroquel and buspar, and tonight is my first night without them.

I have to say, I am a bit nervous...mostly about how long it'll take me to fall asleep since my sleep quality has seemed to be about the same according to my Fitbit's sleep tracking. Seroquel helped me fall asleep quick, and buspar made me a bit sleepy, so having none of either is a little scary.

I'm about to go to bed, but will report back at some point tomorrow.
Hugs from:
*Laurie*
Thanks for this!

I didn't sleep as well and it took me what felt like forever to fall asleep...but oh well I guess. My body should be able to get used to it because for quite some time the only med I was on for sleep was klonopin, just like now.

I'm restless and I can't sleep. This better be temporary. It's been over an hour since I took my meds and I don't even feel sleepy even though I am tired.

Good luck on the Seroquel. I have been unsuccessful in weaning off of it. Some nights I can fall asleep without it but only for little bursts of sleep, nothing solid.

Thanks. It took me about an hour and a half to go to sleep which is a really long time...but I'm gonna keep on trying this until I see my pdoc next week. And if I really need it, I have extra klonopin.
Thanks for this!

I'm gonna ask pdoc about other alternatives for sleep next week. This is ridiculous. It took me almost 2 hours to fall asleep last night!!

Oh my...

If I stopped my Buspar, I'd probably have such extreme anxiety that I'd wind up outside of reality.

Buspar wasn't doing anything for me anymore. If I had thought it was I would have told her no about going off it. I'm now on Lyrica which is amazing. It's off label, but I absolutely love it.
