I am wanting to taper off risperidone. I am currently on 3 mg, and have been for a 1 1/2 years. I have tapered 10% of 3 mg, and i have no withdrawals so far(10 days). My question is, should i speed this up and taper faster or stick with 10% a month, for its going to take me 3 years at that rate. Has anybody heard of this slow of a taper? Ive read of these horror stories of people coming off antipsychotics too fast. I also take 300 mg of wellbutrin, and 20 mg of paxil. Any kind of feedback is appreiciated.
