Hey, everyone. I've been taking 100 mg of Seroquel for OCD every night for the past ten years. I went on a little road trip on Thursday and was very jittery/anxious and had to take an Ativan for the first time in over year to calm myself down. I found this pretty upsetting because I thought I had my anxiety under control. I called the trip off and came home.
I went to take my usual meds tonight and I found a Seroquel tablet in the tub of yogurt I always use, which means I thought I swallowed Wednesday's tablet but didn't. I know this is speculation, but does anything thinking missing a single dose could explain the sudden anxiety? Would just one be enough? Boatie |

In my experience, yes. I have taken Seroquel for 12 years and if I miss a dosage I begin to feel very jittery, sometimes get cold sweats, and general symptoms of withdrawal - even if it is only one night/dose that I missed.
Personally, it scares me that a medication can have this type of effect so I am trying to work with my psychiatrist to get off Seroquel and onto something different. Pretty hard, however, since I am so used to Seroquel. |
