I've been researching about ways to cope with the loss of libido that comes with our anti-depressants. I've tried everything else but the only thing that works is this concept of a "drug holiday" that i read in an article, its where you skip your libido suppressing med/s 24 hours prior to the time you want to engage in sex. This idea seems kind of a brilliant solution to this unsolvable problem. skipping my AD for a day every once a while does not seem like a big deal. But i dont know, im not sure if its good for my mental health recovery. Any thoughts?

Skipping your AD once in awhile might not be problematic, especially if doing so allows you to have a sex life. That said, I would be remiss if I did not advise you to seek the opinion of your prescriber and/or pharmacist.
