I'm currently on Wellbutrin 300mg but it's not working good enough for my depression. I'm going to ask to be put on Trintellix (Brintellix) on Wednesday. Any experience taking both together?

I have tried Lexapro and Pristiq before but stopped because of sides.

Hi, Tyler, and welcome to Psych Central! I have taken Wellbutrin for a long time, but I'm not familiar with Trintellix. Let's see if someone comes along who has taken both at the same time. I know docs someone give Ability to "boost" antidepressants.

Maybe a pharmacist can give you some info about these drugs together in the meantime.

Started on Trintellix. I'm going to stop the Wellbutrin for now.

I'm taking Trintellix (15mg) and Wellbutrin XL (150mg) each once per day. I also take Remeron (15 to 30mg as needed) at night for sleep since both of the other medications can be kind of activating for me.

I have to say I find the Trintellix to be working for me. Before I was taking the Wellbutrin and Remeron along with Lexapro - which killed my libido and kind of made me feel "numb".

How has it been going for you?
