For the few of you on Vraylar, have you noticed any unusual side effects? I've been experiencing some significant hair loss, and the only thing that is different is an increase in my Vraylar dose. Anyone else notice hair loss on this drug? Any other side effects? I haven't noticed anything else and I'm willing to try supplements to counteract the hair loss, as I really like this drug overall.

I'm sorry to hear about your hair loss!

I've been on Vraylar for a few months now and the only side effect that I had was nausea at the beginning, and nausea when I upped the dose.
Thanks for this!

Thanks. I had significant hair loss on Depakote (among other nasty side effects) and was just starting to get some volume back after a year of being off of that. So, I'm kind of sensitive to this side effect.

Google your med and the terms 'side-effects, hair loss' and see what you come up with. It's amazing the crazy side-effects meds can have.

I had hair loss when I was on a high dose of Lamictal which is why I ended up going with natural treatments. The hair loss was permanent btw, and is very upsetting.

I don't know that it is either, but nothing else has changed for me. I'll talk to my pdoc about it next week and see what he thinks.

I looked it up, and hair loss isn't on any list that I looked at...so either it's not from the Vraylar, or it is a super rare s/e that almost never happens and is too rare for it to be worth documenting.
