I went and seen my therapist today. She told me to stay on the Topamax until I see the Psych on Sept 17th. She said I should go off of the Vistaril since it is making me hyper instead of sedating. I up my dose of topamax to 50 in the morning and 50 at night on Friday and I am not sure I want to do that. She said I should stay on it because it takes a while to take full affect. I'm gonna try and wait it out. If it gets any worse I am going to go off of it. I feel a lot better today minus the 2 hours of sleep, crying spell, and nightmares last night. Thanks for the advice.....I appreciate it.

I'm going to move this to the drugs forum because you might get more help there. Make sure you talk to your doctor too. I can't tell from your post if your T is a medical doctor or not.

I was wondering the same: is ur T a doctor who prescribes meds... whether that's the case or not I would call my pdoc if I were u; the one who prescribes those meds can help u out there even if it's over the phone and explains things back and forth. I wouldn't advise just stopping any meds because it can have some really bad effects... I don't want to scare u but just trust me on that one it can be really bad; I know from experience... withdrawls are awful to go thru.
Best wishes, Danielle

I was on Topamax for my migranes and neck pain. My
dr. told me I would lose weight and I did. I had no side
effects. I tried it recently ,I had a few pills left of 100 mg
2 times a day and did not loose any weight.Boo Hoo!!!
