Yup. When I was on it, about a year and a half ago, I definitely experienced that side effect, but didn't last long in any case as it caused me to become manic, so I had to stop using it in any case.

I'm interested in this thread as I'm starting Lexapro tonight. We'll see how it affects me.

I've been taking it for a few years and I don't think it has caused any weight gain. I think some other meds did, but not Lexapro

I definitely experienced weight gain with Lexapro. It crept up though so I didn't notice it until I had put on about 10 or so pounds (which is pretty significant when you start at ~120)

I was put on it prior to Dx of Bipolar.

I was manic for almost a year and lost weight. lol !

It's listed more as a weight neutral med. Of course that varies with anyone.

I started it at the end of October and have gained a few pounds. Just now finished withdrawing off it.
