Ever since i started prozac, my sleep's been disrupted. I used to be able to fall asleep, uninterrupted all through the night, with as little as 12.5 mg of seroquel, now i need 75 mg and i still wake up midsleep everyday and it takes a while to go back to sleep again. I've read that ssri's specially prozac, zoloft suppresses rem sleep and cause mid night awakenings. I'm wondering if switching to another med, like say Lexapro might help? Any thoughts?

From your posts, it sounds like maybe Prozac is not the best choice for you. Switching to another anti-depressant could be helpful.
Thanks for this!

Are you taking it in the morning or evening? If you take it in the evening, perhaps just moving it to morning will help. Might be a thought if that's the case. Otherwise, it might just be too activating for you.

I do think it depends on the med, and yes, when it's taken. I've been taking a prescription for Trazodone at bedtime, since it's known to be sedating. And I definitely have proper sleep.
