I'm switching from clomipramine to Zoloft
because clomipramine is too expensive and causes
extreme fatigue
I can barely make my bed or clean

Can anyone share there Zoloft experiences?

I have no side effects from zoloft or anything other I take. Only when I was hospitalized their meds (never told what kind) were making me brain dead.

When I started taking zoloft the loooong period of depression ended so I guess it works. That was more then a year ago.

Zoloft was the devil in a pill for me. It gave me horrific anxiety and panic attacks it then sent me full on manic.

I've been on Zoloft a couple of times in my life, both times for about 3 years each. The first time I took Zoloft it was very helpful. A few side effects, but nothing too extreme. The second time I was on Zoloft it didn't do that much for me...helped my depression a little bit. No major side-effects. My husband takes Zoloft and his biggest complaint is that it causes sleepiness, but his sleep schedule is all messed up so it's hard to tell with him. It is helping his depression and OCD quite a bit.

I've been on Zoloft since I was 11 (I am now 20), and it has honestly been a life-saver for me many times throughout my life. I've had to increase the dosage a few times, but I don't think I could've handles a lot of things without it. You do get some side effects, but they were minor for me. Mainly just a "different" feeling, but it subsides after a 3-8 weeks, at least in my case it has. I wish you the best of luck with it!

I was on Zoloft for about 14 years and never had a problem, I can't remember what dosage I was at when I switched because I felt it wasn't working anymore.

I'm on Zoloft for the second time. The first time I wasn't on a mood stabilizer so I went manic. This time I'm on a mood stabilizer and I feel much better. My depression is a lot better than on the other meds I tried. Good luck!
