Has anyone tried the 25 milligrams instead of the 50 for anxiety? What was it like? The 50 messed me up real bad so I said I’d try the 25. I also take Xanax as well up to 2X a day. Sometimes I take 3 a day. I’m hoping to get rid of this anxiety and whatever else I have. Because it is real bad.

I have OCD of the Pure-O variety. I was on Klonopin for almost a decade. When I tapered off I tried to use hydroxyzine but it did nothing for me

hydroxyzine does not really work for me. I know it is a great anti anxiety medicine for others though.

I just took one 40 minutes ago. I was very anxious all day and now I am pretty relaxed but not too drowsy. I’m not focusing on much of anything. Which I think is good since I was having a lot of anxious thoughts today.

Actually this is the most relaxed and content I’ve felt in days.

The weight gain is pretty ridiculous. 10 pounds in less then 2 weeks? Any thing I gain on is going to be counterproductive solely for that reason.

Now that is not something I have never heard before. I am so sorry. I got no benefit for my anxiety and it does not make me drowsy either. Klonopin and ativan are the only two that ever really worked for me. Buspar was a joke.

My pdoc said that sometimes we don't eat when we're anxious, or at least our hunger levels are somewhat suppressed during that time. When that anxiety goes away, though, our hunger may return, thus leading to weight gain. Or so that's the theory, anyway.

I figured I'd mention that in case you start having weight gain on other anxiolytics. Basically, the weight gain may not be from the med *itself*; rather, you may need to adjust to your new hunger levels and maybe make some dietary changes.

I haven’t taken it in 2 days and my hunger has been fine and according to the scale I’m already down 3 pounds. That med is just really really messed up. I went to the store today and got a lot of healthy foods to kick off the New Years resolution.
