how do i contrive my doctor to presribe me seruqel

Hi my pdoc won't he said i am not prescribing that! i am on ablifry and it cost too much ,it was covrred before and now it is not! requeres a Proir aduzoir to be filled out. but i am willing to trt seruqel it only cost 3 dollars per a month comare to 10.00 which was ablifry before the 10.00

Did your pdoc say why he won't prescribe Seroquel?

While Seroquel works well for many people, there are health risks etc involved. So my guess is that he might be concerned about those risks given your family history or given your past reactions to certain meds. There are millions of reasons why he refuses to prescribe it. If you disagree with his logic, I would challenge him or seek another doc.

I agree with bluebicycle. Your pdoc needs to explain his reasoning and you can decide at that point whether to try another pdoc.
