You should ask your pdoc.

There is also a Seroquel XR formula which you may find more sedating. It only cost me $3 with a coupon.

If you're using Seroquel ONLY for sleep, then maybe you should talk to your pdoc about switching to a different sleepy med. Remeron and ambien come to mind.

These really are questions that you should ask your Pdoc. You've been posting for a few days about dosage for Seroquel for sleep and you seem to be experimenting with the dosage some. I really urge you to reach out to your Pdoc. I'm sure he or she started you on 100 mg for a reason, and if it's not working, he or she should know. I hope your pdoc helps you find the right dose, or something else that will help you sleep.

I honestly don't know for sure. The kind my daughter was on could be split, but this was well over 6 months ago and I don't remember specifics. Maybe call the pharmacy that prescribed it and ask them?

It's true that Seroquel on low doses works as a sleep agent for most patients and that over a certain amount (150mg-200mg) it begins to work as an antipsychotic which may militate against the sleep effects. But under that it doesn't get better and better at putting you to sleep, i.e. 50mg is weaker than 100mg and 25mg is weaker still. If 100mg doesn't work for you, then I think you should look for something else entirely.
