In 2014 I had to get off lithium because it was damaging my kidneys. I had been on it less then 7 years. Once I got off it got better. Then after losing weight I thought my doctor had said my kidney function was ok.

I had a blood test a few weeks ago, and the doctor read the results, and my kidney function was high again. She did another one today.

This can't still be the lithium doing this, can it? Why would it get better then get worse again? I'm only 24, Is kidney disease possible when I've had little problems with anything else?

I eat healthy and I exercise and my weight is under control, so I'm kind of confused. I see my psych doctor on Thursday. Maybe he can give me some info
