Let me start off by saying I'm treatment resistant, regarding anxiety and depression.
My Pdoc prescribed Suboxone about a week ago and my symptoms are almost all gone. I actually felt like a normal human being this past week. Has anyone else tried Suboxone and did it work for you? |

Yes, I'm trying subutex for severe refractory depression. It seems to be helping. Yes, the first week, my symptoms seemed gone! Now after 4 months, I'm still struggling with the dosage. I asked if tolerance is a problem and he said, "No one knows, but yes." He said the effective dose is 2-8 mg. As I am opiate niave, I have only just now worked myself up to 1.5 mg. So, maybe my dose is just still too low to maintain steady levels.
Are you still doing well? Please check in. ![]() |

Thanks for the info WhisperingPain. I'm glad to know a low dose like 2 mg keeps you stable. Seems the only way to try this drug is to become an opiate addict, then get put on it. I have read many, MANY former addicts singing suboxone's praises for treating their depression, but hardly anyone that is just a treatment resistant depressive who has managed to get an Rx.
