I was on 150 XL for a couple of years. I started it to help with depression that manifested mostly as lethargy and heavy sleepiness. It did indeed help with those symptoms. Additionally, it improved my libido greatly (awesome side effect) and I lost a bit of weight. Unfortunately, it steadily kept increasing my anxiety levels. I finally decided to cut the dose to 75 mg daily (SR, not XL) and the effect of lowering anxious racing thoughts plus slight improvement in sleep has been immediate. Now, two weeks on the smaller dose, my anxiety seems to be creeping back (no effect on depression one way or the other: no sleepiness but most definitely not free of depression) Not sure what the next step is but anecdotally I can attest that lowering your WB will lower your anxiety
