Anyone have any luck with this? My pdoc said it'll determine which meds would work better. Anyone have any insights on this. I read that it is mostly hit or miss.

Didn't do much for me. But I heard if you are sensitive to meds or have lots of side effects it can be helpful. We gave it a try because we were running out of options.

I had it done and it is a wonderful help for me. Was on Wellbutrin and was getting worse. The testing revealed that was one of the worst ones for me to take. Have since switched to Pristiq and am much better.

I did this and they got me switched from Zoloft to Vybrid (the latter works well for my depression...anxiety, meh). I also found out from the test I don't tolerate valium at all ( I took some pre op and fell asleep face down on the living room carpet....That and I was zonked out). The Vybrid didn't have as many side effects as the Zoloft so I think it was a good idea to get the genetic testing.

Mine was done through Genesight. They have a program that if your insurance doesn't cover it the most you pay out of pocket is I think $350. It was definitely beneficial four me.
Thanks for this!

The test helped me. I had years of trial and error on pills. Finally the test gave some insight of what is good for me and what's not. What I take now works great.

I tried it but didn't help me :/ I'm not saying it won't work for everyone but for me personally it didn't work.

I’m supposed to pay 150. The 350 is if you make over I think 75k a year. The insurance was billed at 6k. Yikes.

I did have it done already. My current pdoc (iop) put me on lamictal from the results. So far so good.
