Yes. As someone on this thread pointed out, there should have been someone to cover for the pharmacist while she was out for dinner.

The original problem was that the pharmacy called me and told me to come over and pick up the prescription, that it was ready.

Yes, you're right of course. That's well beyond annoying.
They seem to have a hard time keeping their pharmacists at my Walgreens. One of them gave me a bottle of 50 Lunesta when my prescription was for 30. I didn't complain because well....extra sleeping pills. But she was gone the next time I came in. Rightly so; who knows what other mistakes she made? You can call their customer service number to complain. (When I did that once they just referred me back to the pharmacy--so that was useless So there you go.)

I just happened to talk about pharmacies with my friend yesterday. She said she uses Walgreen's and is happy with it. She uses a different Walgreen's then the one I tried so I guess it depends on the location.

Thank you both. I would have spoken with a manager on the spot...but there wasn't one in the pharmacy
