I seem to have a harder time sticking to my low cal diet when I take an Ativan.
I haven’t taken one since Wednesday, and I’ve been fine with my diet. I read somewhere that Ativan causes the munchies. Does anyone know anything about this? |

Hm. I looked around online and there are sites that report it as a side effect, as well as people posting such experiences on forums etc.

I still haven’t taken any, and I’ve lost 4 pounds.
Weird. I had no idea that it was doing that. Last edited by Mountaindewed; Feb 19, 2018 at 12:16 PM.. |

hi. long term, some benzodiazepine treated people gain weight. i dont know if that's an appetite issue or if its just...long term sedative use (?).
in my own limited experience, benzodiazepines on a daily use basis made me lazy and i didnt exercise enough, didnt care as much about what i ate, etc., but it was nothing compared to what happened with 'atypical' tranquilizers and some antidepressants. |
