I've only been on klonopin for it and one time depakote and last time abilify. I dunno what the root of it is. possibly anxiety.

Geodon helps with my aggression. I'm bipolar so it comes with the manic side

Was just in the hospital for agitation, put me on 6 mg ativan. Works well. So does Geodon, Zyprexa.

I don't know what your diagnosis is. Mood stabilizers (such as Lamictal) are often sued for irritability and out-of-control anger.

I see in your profile, you live with depression and anxiety.

One of the SSRI meds citalopram (Celexa) is often used for depression, anxiety and irritability.

Depakote is used as a mood stabilizer; yet, is also used for extreme irritability in certain cases.

Higher doses of klonopin can help with anxiety; yet, sometimes can also add to depression.

is your anxiety being treated now?

What does your pdoc suggest?

I hope you feel better soon!
