Can be very much related to any anxiety or depression. There are options in terms of stimulants, which any good clinician would probably steer away from if anxiety is present. Non-stimulants such as atomoxetine is a possible way to go.

There is a good chance that it could be linked to anxiety and/or depression. Especially if the lack of focus started around the time that your anxiety began becoming noticeably worse.

Atomoxetine?

It is a norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor that is a good non-stimulant alternative. Mainly for ADHD/ADD.

I have had success with adzenys it will keep you in a focused and engaged state of mind during the day and also not make you feel as on the go or driven by a motor as many with ADHD do.

I've taken modafinil, I heard that works for some people. I would still take it myself but I didn't want to become dependent on it plus it was giving me some side effects like mood changes so I stopped.
