I was wondering if anyone has ever experienced the feeling of no side effect.
None both physical or emotional. Except that I have at times felt worse emotionally. I tried Prozac for a month and I am now on Luvox. I have not felt any side effects. I have been diagnosed with ocd and depression. I feel hopeless. I almost wish I were physically sick so at least I could see some reaction.

Definately.

Luvox did nothing for me but make me sick. It did not make me better. Talk to your pdoc and tell him/her this, then ask if you can try Celexa. More than likely, you will get no side effects, and it does help. I have to go now - I'm not on my own computer.

Take care and keep us posted,
Maber

Maber,
You got that right! But I do not know what "best friends" mean. Once married 23 yrs ago I sort of felt who needs friends anymore I got my husband and my brothers, in-laws and my family, but all that has gone down I had to resort to therapy, etc. because sometimes those "best friends" do not even understand or they grow intolerant of my ever changing moods, worst thing I think my therapist and psychiatrist have pretty much have written me off, for 2 reasons I get annoyed with my med. side effects and then I start asking to change doses and the 2nd reason I am moving soon so I think they feel I'll finally be out of their hair, so why bother doing or saying anything more that may help. Sorry, I was compelled to "vent" hey after all it is 4th of July! (ha!, ha!) I am just so "pleasant" today aren't I? Have a good day.
PS Celexa is good, I just hate the depakote!!
Stay well,
"darkeyes"

Thanks for the response. I am glad to have found this forum. It is very helpful to hear from people who have taken or are taking the same medicine that I have been prescribed. For some reason I have been feeling worse since I started taking medication. I have only been on medication a little over one month. I have felt nothing physically. Emotionally I have felt worse.
I do agree with with your qoute about friends. I really don't have any. Because of my depression I don't have the energy to be in a friendship. I do have one friend but she has no idea how sick I am. I constantly have to put on an act around her and it is truly exhausting. Thanks.

Dear Doby,
If it is any consulation to you the people on this forum can relate to you, it really sucks when you have to put on an "act" for those who "can't" deal with a friend or family member suffering with depression or some other disorder. "NO" one seems to know what misery it can be, though I too get so down I do not even want to tell you more about me, let it be again a consulation to you that this great thing the "internet" has connected many of us in the same or similar position and we are "truly" here for you, the people on this forum are good people and seem to "REALLY" listen, not humor us like others around us do. If your medicine is not helping you do not feel afraid to tell your doctor, and be sure to feel free to ask questions. Keep us up to date with how you make out.
Stay well,
"darkeyes"
