I am now taking this new medicine which is stronger for depression but I don’t feel the effects yet. And it says it makes you fat. Appreciate anyone letting me know if is a good medicine or not.

hi. its -very- new, so long term data is just...not there. its similar to Abilify, so you might want to check out the long term data on abiify (aripiprazole) and see what you're looking at.

I think this one can elevate prolactin a bit, so ask a doctor about checking that for you, if you continue taking it.

weight gain is common with -any- tranquilizer/neuroleptic. :-(

sorry about this. psych drugs really have not come all that far since the 50s, when one really stops to think about it, and its kinda...disappointing.
