Seems to give me a big boost of energy almost like a stimulant.
But I take Cojentin with it because of slight restlessness. Is it known mostly to be a stimulating med.
And increased hunger big time.

I find Abilify to give me a lot of extra energy. And when my pdoc increased the dose, it brought me into a hypomanic state. So we had to lower it again. Very interesting med nonetheless considering how differeent it is from most antipsychotics.

a former shrink told me that around 15, 20mgs it becomes "soothing," which I think is her ridiculous word choice for "tranquilizing."
Thanks for this!

For me 20mg is the magic number for it to start working as a tranquilizer. It makes me tired at 20mg and above. It is a very interesting drug but as kept me some what stable for over a year.
