I was taking 80 mg at bedtime with some pecans or almonds but now I'm taking 60 mg with no food. I decreased my dose b/c I was having akasthesia, which was horrible. Now I'm not taking it with food b/c I take it with Doxepin which works best when taken on an empty stomach. So I guess I'm not absorbing a good dose of Geodon. I don't feel "right" since lowering the Geodon dose and stopping the food. Does anyone take Geodon with dinner and not get too sleepy? I feel like taking it at dinner time, then taking the Doxepin a few hours later on an empty stomach is my only option but I'm afraid I'll be falling asleep at the dinner table.

I have been told Geodon should be taken twice a day with food. I take 40 mg with breakfast and 60 mg with dinner.
