I guess it might depend on if you suddenly stop taking it or if your T weans you off of it. It is never good to just stop without speaking to your T.

Valbends,

With any medication you will likely get withdrawal, now are you stopping just to stop it all together, or under the direction of your doctor. You should never stop taking medication unless your doctor okay's it because you could crash and become worse. To be taken off medication one has to ween you off of it by lowering the dose....

Is there a reason why you are stopping it?

I was on Zoloft for 8 years, went off it at the end of 03 because it just quit working....

It is in your best interest to take this up with the doctor thath prescribed it for you, it is very unwise to just stop on your own, many meds need a "weaning" off period and some need to be tritrated up, from my own experience and advice from people in the professions, MD's and Pharmacists, follow directions.

In giving advice seek to help, not please your friend
