Is it true that some people can’t get specific meds prescribed to them just because of their diagnosis? I’ve had that happen to me with Wellbutrin because I have bad anxiety. And the doctor was right. It was horrible for my anxiety. But I’ve also heard a lot of people can’t get benzos because of specific disorders they have. But I’ve only heard of that happening to one person who could have benefited very well from them.

As far as I know the only people who definitely cannot be prescribed benzos are those who have substance use/addiction issues.

Not exactly--but some drugs are contraindicated because of other drugs I take. I do take Wellbutrin, although I have a history of anxiety.
