Has anyone tried caffeine to help with day time tiredness? I did at one point but I don’t know why we stopped. Has this ever worked for anyone?

I drink a lot of coffee - so I can relate. It doesn't seem to affect my sleep too much, which is nice. And it gives me a bit of a boost during the day which I like.

Yeah, I definitely use caffeine and it works. I start my day with 4 cups of coffee and then usually have 2-4 glasses of coke zero throughout the afternoon. Most people I know drink caffeine to some extent.

Yes I drink a lot of coffee, it helps. But I have to be careful with it, because sometimes it makes my anxiety worse or gives me panic attacks.

I drink one glass of chai in the am and usually have one small bottle of Pepsi midday, but that’s all or I’ll get wired and anxious.

I drink a lot of caffeine in the morning. Usually 2-3 zero sugar sodas and a mug or 2 of hot flavored tea. But after 9 or 10AM I just have water or Sprite Zero.

I limit myself to one coffee a week and one full calorie soda a week.

I used to drink coffee. I liked the effect it had. Caffeine is a CNS stimulant, which probably explains why I was able to focus and concentrate better. It also has Theobromine, which is a cardiac stimulant; Theophylline, which is a bronchodilator; and Chlorogenic Acid, which induces gastric effects. There are probably at least dozens, if not hundreds or thousands, of other compounds found in coffee (Coffea Arabica).

Caffeine causes me to get sleepy. I assume it interacts with my meds.

I NEED caffeine. I am always tired without it. So, if there was no caffeine, I would not function. It helps me focus and stay awake. I've tried to live without it and constantly feel lethargic.
