|
Is this drug the weakest of the dopamine blockers? If it is, what makes it more "effective" than the other antipsychotics? Is it more effective?

Anyway, it also has a whole slew of potential side effects that can be serious. I was on it once for a little bit.

Clozapine saved my life. I finally gave in and started it. Yeah I drool at night a lot more but it is worth it. Having to do blood work all the time is the only draw back.

Okay, thanks guys. I will have to read some PubMed literature about it. I guess I just made this thread out of a mixture of curiosity and boredom.

It definitely is the most effective antipsychotic at least in my case (and I've tried all the second gens). Not sure about the weakest of the dopamine blockers, maybe wikipedia will have some info on that. Any questions about my experience with clozaril feel free to PM me (I'm not on it anymore).
