I am not taking Lithium so I am perplexed as to what is causing it.
I am taking Latuda, which is fairly new for me, and also Seroquel which I am taking again after a break but I did take it in the past, and Gabapentin, which I have been taking continuously since 2017. Has anyone had high creatinine on any of these drugs? |

May not be related to the drug. Could be something as simple as dehydration.

Or a protein drink.

It was related to dehydration, but I redid the test after several cups of tea and am still at the upper limit of the normal range. I will redo the test in a month. I do not drink protein drinks, but I now realize that there are many factors besides the medications.

That is curious. I have kidney damage from Lithium, which was discovered from high creatinine level maybe 12 years back. I was eventually taken off of it for that reason.
I've been taking Seroquel for about 10 years now, with no significant worsening of my kidney functioning. So for me, I would not say that Seroquel has been harmful for my kidneys. The only issue I worry about is someday getting diabetes type 2. It's in my family, plus Seroquel can cause vulnerability due to metabolic effects. Though I don't believe Seroquel caused my kidney damage, possible future diabetes could exacerbate it.
