I had three doses off iloperidone. It made me elope. Elope-her-a-down.

Nah, it just made me fall like three times so I stopped it. I missed two doses, then I took Belsomra for sleep for the first time. I woke up and face planted into a candle. Was the iloperidone still in my system or is my pdoc sympathetic in that I miss getting shitffaced and is purposefully prescriptiongs things thatmimick the lacerations?

Is it also normal to wake up after 6 hours of incredibly broken sleep ready to go into a mosh pit at a death metal concert and destroy everybody in sight after your first dose of belsomra?

I might be quite late in responding to this, but it's very possible. It hadn't had time yet to reach steady state, but it would still be in your system, yes. Its half-life is 18 hours, and it takes 5 half-lives to get out of your system. So that's 90 hours (or roughly 3.75 days). Call it a full 4 days to get out of your system.

I'm sorry it caused that side effect for you. What's worse is that both iloperidone and Belsomra are both CYP3A4 substrates, so they would be competing for metabolism, so it would slow down the elimination of iloperidone in your system.
