I am on my first week of 50mg of Zoloft and I am feeling anxious, restless, and racing thoughts. I know this is common when starting but I do not think I can continue until it starts working and I am worried it never will. My doctor also wants to increase it to up to 200mg but this is hell to have to feel this horrible every time it is increased.
What if it does not work. My life depends on it. Any suggestions or anyone have a similar experience? |

I think everyone is different in how they react to meds.
I first had Zoloft in 2016, no issues at all. Got it again in 2020 and I got very edgy like you described, I stopped it. In my case I did okay without it. Keep in touch with your doctor or pharmacist about this, I’d be cautious, especially if you haven’t had it before. Under 25s particularly can react badly to Zoloft I’ve heard. I don’t know if that applies to you. |
